Cesca Major is a novelist and screenwriter. She's written fifteen novels under different names and her books have been published in more than 12 countries. She's been nominated for the RNA's Romantic Comedy Award, HWA Gold Crown and the CWA Gold Dagger Award. She currently has adaptations and original TV and Film projects in development with companies including Hello Sunshine, Apple, Monumental Television, Birdie Pictures and more.

Her next book THE RESIDENCY  - a gothic thriller written under her pseudonym C.D.Major - is out this Summer with Canelo in the UK and DK Books in the US.

Cesca has presented shows for ITV West and Sky Channels in the past. She enjoys hosting or speaking on panels and films vlogs about the writing process. She has run writing retreats and tutored on Arvon courses. She mentors for the Black Girl Writers in the UK and in 2024 she was proud to be a mentor on the Reese's Book Club 'Lit Up' scheme.
